Ranked among the top 5% of over 15,000 companies
Europe’s Best Employers were identified independently of employers through anonymous surveys on ft.com
Evaluation criteria was based on direct and indirect recommendations
BAT has been recognised in the Financial Times and Statista’s inaugural ranking of Europe’s Best Employers 2025, placing it among the top 5% of the 15,000 companies evaluated.
The ranking features 1,000 companies across 26 industries rated through an anonymous employee survey that employers, including BAT, were not involved in. The survey asked employees if they would recommend their own employer to friends and family and which other employers in their sector they would endorse. The survey also captured employee sentiment across key areas including working conditions, salary, development opportunities, and company reputation. More than four million employer evaluations were considered.
Cora Koppe-Stahrenberg, Chief People Officer at BAT, said:“Being named one of Europe’s Best Employers is a remarkable recognition of the environment we’ve built together. It’s a genuine reflection of how people experience life at BAT, and it shows that our culture, values and the way we support and empower one another truly sets us apart making BAT the Place to Be.”
This recognition highlights BAT’s commitment to fostering an exceptional workplace culture and employee experience across Europe.
